Campaign lives refill over time. If you run out, you can wait for a refill. Daily Star offers a free daily board with no life cost, and Jewel Lab lets you practise combinations without spending lives or earning campaign rewards.

Campaign levels are move-based. There is no countdown rushing an individual move. Match neighbouring jewels and combine specials; this is a swap-three puzzle.
